In Focus of Cleveland is actively taking measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Everyone at In Focus is expected to follow all the agency’s policies, to sustain a healthy and safe workplace.  It is important that we all respond responsibly to these health precautions. In Focus of Cleveland will always treat your private health and personal information with high confidentiality and sensitivity.  The Coronavirus (COVID-19) company policy is susceptible to changes with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines. Work from home request:

  • If you are feeling ill, but you are able to work, you can request to work from home (Administration Only)


Request time away: (paid time away will not be offered by employer)

  • If you have cold symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/fever, or feel poorly, request time away from work.

  • If you have recently returned from areas with a high number of COVID-19 cases (based on CDC announcements). We’ll ask you to inform upper management of your potential exposure.  You will also be asked not to come into physical contact with any of our residents/colleagues during this time.

  • If you’ve been in close contact with someone infected by COVID-19, with high chances of being infected yourself, please request time away from work. you will also be asked not to come into physical contact with any residents/colleagues during this time.

  • If an employee has a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, In Focus of Cleveland will pay up to two weeks in wages of their regular work schedule.  The employee can return to work after being tested twice with a negative result both times.


General Hygiene Rules

  • When arriving for your shift, PLEASE PUT ON A FACE MASK, which is provided by In Focus of Cleveland.

  • Please sanitize YOUR work area, and ALL common areas prior to your shift, throughout your shift, and at the end of your shift.

  • Wash your hands before starting your shift, before passing meds, before handling food for the residents, and after using the restroom.  If you cough/sneeze into your hands (follow the 20-second hand washing rule).  You can also use sanitizers which is available throughout the houses and Administration Building.

  • Cough/sneeze into your sleeve, preferably into your elbow. If you use a tissue, discard it properly, and wash/sanitize your hands immediately.

  • Avoid touching your face, particularly eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands to prevent from getting infected.
